3 mm thermo-acoustic foam
Ediflex foam is made of expanded reticulated close-celled polyethylene. It is impermeable, decay resistant and light. It is totally resistant to microorganisms and mould. It is also resistant to alkaline chemical agents usually found in concrete masonries. It is odorless, long-lived and compatible with all floor heating systems. Ediflex foam is mainly used for acoustical and thermal insulation of floating, glued or nailed parquet floors. It is ideal to insulate acoustical bridges in walls. It is in accordance with the DTU 51.11 (parquet floors and wood-faced, inlaid floor coverings (floating parquets)), the DTU 51.2 (glued parquet) and the DTU 51.3 (Floors of timber or wood-based panels). |
