5 mm plinth foam

The plinth foam is made of open-celled non-reticulated polyethylene. It is light, flexible, recyclable, shock absorbent, watertight and vapor proof. It resists to chemical products and is decay resistant. The plinth foam is to be used under the plinths in order to insulate both thermally and acoustically floating parquet floors and floor coverings. It provides high phonic-insulation, avoids tile crack and is totally compatible with floor heating systems. It also avoids acoustical transmissions without obstructing the expansion of the parquet.
