Select 6.50 2011 05-05-2011

We here in the aftermath of the select 6.50, first solo race of the season. The course of 300 minutes (1 minute = 1.852km) between Pornichet, Sands, and Groix Pornichet took us 3 days and 2 hours which is very slow.

I ranked second in less than a minute of the first after leading the race during the three quarters. Here is the story of a tough race and tiring ... ... First I would like to thank Anne Sophie and Nathan for their departure came in the hope that they enjoyed the show.

Day 1: After a start in the bright sun of La Baule in little wind, we performed a small show trail along the coast. At the end of this phase I am not highly ranked but I quickly back the package. By late afternoon I am third. The first night was marked by a big massive storm early in the night which allowed us to make the hole with the bulk of the fleet series and I want to go to second place. More than one. We spend the end of the night and half the day at near (the wind) to the island of Yeu. I'm first in passing this island (yes!). The next to Les Sables d'Olonne is a very soft, soft wind to pass that mark the fleet reduced the gap with me but I'm still first.

Day 2: The recovery is still in a soft wind see nothing. Sometimes I see competitors come from behind but I always manage to escape and I keep my head to the passage of Croix. I'm starting to get tired but I remain lucid and I fight like hell.

Day 3: the final leg to Pornichet proved easier for me. I had to check the nearest competitors to avoid a return in the last few miles. Mission accomplished up to two miles from the finish (or ½ hour before arrival) or the wind stops completely for everyone.

Arrival: The wind always absent but eventually returned to the opposite of the water and there I see two spinnakers return the horizon, I do not know who they are because I have not seen the race .... Unfortunately the two competitors passes me and I lose the race less than a minute. I am currently in an extreme rage against everything and anything, but he must show sportsmanship and I am very positive of the three days of racing. It's very good for the future.

J'hisse Innovea Environnement on the podium of the select 6.50 and 0. I promise you more...
